This parade will help celebrate Downtown Dallas revitalization while welcoming thousands of visitors to Dallas for the annual AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. The family-friendly afternoon parade will begin on Ross Avenue from the Arts District to the West End and will be followed by AT&T Cotton Bowl pep rallies in Downtown Dallas. 3 pm.

This is one game where history joins hands with sports entertainment in Terrific Texas! I am really impressed with the pedigree of the event, did you it started in the 1930s? In fact it was 1937 in Dallas; it was then held at the Texas State Fair Grounds and did you know it was actually sponsored by one single guy, from his pocket? Yeah, entirely! The great guy was Texas oil executive J. Curtis Sanford, and they had some 17,000 people in the galleries cheering the game that year. Then it became a regular and subsequently prestigious event for the locality.
