Holiday at the Arboretum Dallas, TX

Sundays between Nov. 25 – Dec. 31, 2007

Every Sunday between Nov. 25 and Dec. 31, you can enjoy an afternoon full of holiday-related activities. Kids can pet real, live reindeer or have their pictures taken with Santa Claus in the jolly man’s reindeer-powered sleigh. Go for a ride on a horse-drawn carriage, navigate a 100-tree Christmas tree maze, view a holiday figurine collection, hear choir groups and other musicians perform holiday songs and meet costumed characters such as Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

ICE! at Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Tx

November 15 – January 5, 2008

Gaylord Texan’s popular ICE! exhibit will feature 2 million pounds of ice, hand-carved by visiting artisans from Harbin, China. In addition to previous favorites, visitors of the 14,000-square-foot exhibit will discover a three-level ice slide, a gingerbread family, penguins, a walk-through Nativity scene, and much, much more.

Sundance Square Sparkles with the Spirit of the Season!

The signs of Christmas surround you this season in Sundance Square – from the spirited holiday music that fills the air to the festively decorated and lighted downtown buildings. Visitors will marvel at the magnificient 56-foot Christmas tree adorned with thousands of sparkling lights, glistening snowflakes and bright red ornaments that seems to rise magically from the red brick Main Street.

Light shows nightly 5:30-10:00 pm

Friday and Saturday 5:30-9:30 Weekend Schedule of Events include Santa, Carriage Rides, Model Railroad Trains, Santa’s Gift Shop, Outdoor Movies

Carriage rides will be from 5:30-9:30 pm every Thursday through Sunday in December beginning Dec. 6th, as well as December 31, 2007 and Jan. 1, 2008. The cost is $6 per person.
