This is the new video from Norwegian new-gazers, Serena-Maneesh. The song is called ‘Saphirre Eyes’. Norwegian Serena Maneesh present their self-titled, full-length debut Serena Maneesh with eleven songs that slide down a razor’s edge of distortion and pop whimsy, raucous guitar work and underwater static, angelic voices and primal screams. The strange melodies are strikingly original, yet they strike to the heart of something familiar: a classic rock guitar lick, a wound, a kiss.

Along with The Disco Biscuits and Sound Tribe Sector 9, Particle was among the first to blend rock, jazz, funk, and electronica into the mileau of what has been dubbed “livetronica” (a subgenre of the jam band movement where live bands blend the structures of DJ-produced sequenced electronic music into a more traditional live band setting).
Basically it’s an amazing jam band sound meeting a full on electronica rave!
Particle released Transformations: Live for the People in July at the start of this year, February 2006. It’s Particle’s first full-length DVD and double live CD which featured guest apperances by experimental rap duo Blackalicious, Robby Krieger of The Doors, guitar hero Joe Satriani, and DJ Logic.
Topaz has performed with the likes of Norah Jones, The Wailers, Widespread Panic and Robert Randolph. He has played all the major festivals such as Bonaroo, New Orleans Jass and Heritage Festival and Austin City Limits Festival.
After Dallas, Particle heads to Austin for an ACL AFTERSHOW with Ohn. (Fri. night at The Parish)
