The 8th annual Empty Bowls luncheon combines delicious cuisine with handmade art – all to benefit the North Texas Food Bank’s hunger relief efforts. For a ticket donation of $25, luncheon guests can enjoy any of the soups, breads and desserts provided by over a dozen select restaurants (like Veuve, Kitchen 1924, and Bread Winners ) and go home with a hand crafted bowl created by an area artisan.

Join Larry at the Casa Mañana Sat. Aug. 26 for Laugh With a Texas Legend: An Evening With Larry Hagman. One of the world’s legendary actors, Larry Hagman tells all as he regales you with an amazing evening of hilarious and heartwarming anecdotes of his life and career with famous mother, Mary Martin; the discovery of a Jeannie in a bottle; and who shot J.R. – 350 million fans worldwide wanted to know. Larry narrates a multi-media presentation that includes slides, film clips and hilarious outtakes from “I Dream of Jeannie” and, of course, his days on the South Fork Ranch. All proceeds benefit Casa Mañana’s ambitious Education and Outreach programs!

$100 includes the show (at 8:30 p.m.) and post-show party.
