Here are some fun activities to enjoy in the spirit of fall. From football to rodeos, chili cook-offs to turkey trots, there is something for the whole family to enjoy!!

  • 11/08 Texas Stampede Cattle Drive Hooves and horns highlight annual parade. Texas Stampede Cattle Drive Location – N St Paul St and Main St Dallas, TX, 75201
    • 11:00AM Kicking off the three-day Texas Stampede is this annual hoofed spectacle that contrasts Old West tradition with the modern concrete and pavement prairie of Downtown Dallas. The parade is a colorful and lively prelude to the Texas Stampede, featuring championship rodeo events, country music concerts and other entertainment at the state-of-the-art American Airlines Center.
  • 11/10 Texas Stampede Old fashioned rodeo, modern venue, hot music…The proRodeo Classic , a championship competition that ropes in top-ranked athletes from the PRCA ProRodeo tour.   • 11/12 Chile Pepperama Old Town Shopping Center – 5500 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX, 75206
    • 11:00AM-6:00PM (Free) Warm up to the Texas-hot taste of chili at this annual fall festival sponsored by Budweiser. Sample more than a dozen chili recipes brought to you by the Texas Chefs Association Annual Chili Confrontation.
  • 11/23 YMCA Turkey Trot at City Hall Plaza – 1500 Marilla Dr Dallas, TX, 75201 This is the 39th annual Turkey Trot presented by the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. Thousands of Turkey Trotters start the holiday season with an early-morning 8-mile run or 3-mile fun-run/walk. Benefits go towards the local CASA Youth Shelter and other programs.
    • 9:00AM ($10-$25) Start times are staggered, with the 8-mile starting at 9AM and the 3-mile trot/walk starting 15 minutes later (9:15am).
