in a china closet opens with an artist’s reception Friday, September 15, 7 ~ 10 pm. in a china closet continues Saturdays from 12 ~ 5 pm through October 21. Studio 832 opens for THE ANNUAL FALL GALLERY WALK September 16, 2 ~ 8 PM.
“I create installations using ornament as a tool to make suggestions about the nature of narrative structure. I draw highly decorative arrangements of shapes to be embedded with unexpected motifs that are in reference to an enigmatic story continuously changing as it unfolds. I hope to inspire the intellectual creativity of the viewer to uncover new stories or meanings from within the psychological experience of seeing.??? ~ Nancy Brown
