Honestly there is almost no excuse for not casting a vote&#8230;if anything it either gives you boasting rights or the authority to complain for a few years. If you don&#8217;t vote, don&#8217;t complain..enough said. The polls should be coming to a close, and the votes are already starting to come in&#8230;Last time I checked <b>Kinky Friedman</b> held 139,672 votes &#8211; 11%...while Dem. <b>Chris Bell</b> 394,990 votes &#8211; 30% , Rep. <b>Rick Perry</b> 532,320 votes &#8211; 40%. It will probably be a win for the Rep. incumbent but hopefully it won&#8217;t be a complete slaughter. Texas is notorious for low voter turnout, maybe this year more people will get their voice heard.
