The billboards can identify the owners based on a <span class="caps">RFID</span> chip embedded in their key fob.</p> <p><img src="http://blog.tagmycity.com/files/motorboard_ab.gif" alt="" /></p> <p>The messages are based on the personal questionnaires owners filled out. So, for drivers like Jim, a chef in San Francisco, he might receive the following note: &#8220;Jim, the special of the day is speed.&#8221; The signs, posted in San Francisco, New York, Miami, and Chicago, will encourage drivers to upgrade to a feature on their wish list, so boards read, &#8220;You&#8217;ve earned your <span class="caps">GPS</span> system.&#8221; Mini owners will even be wished a happy birthday on their special day.
